2012 All-New Honda Civic Sedan
This spring, Honda launched the All-New 2012 Honda Civic, a compact-vehicle that provides style, high level of performance and fuel efficiency. This vehicle is available in two models, the all-new Civic HF, the Civic Si and Civic Hybrid Specifications, which are capable of producing more fuel efficiency from 40 mpg on the highway. Specifications Civic HF power 140 horsepower, which is produced by the engine 4-silinder1.8 machine-liter i-VTEC, using a 5-speed automatic transmission and ECO Assist technology, with estimated EPA at 41 mpg for the Civic Sedan and Civic Sedan HF by 39 mpg. 2012 Civic Hybrid is designed with lithium-ion battery and engine 1.5-liter i-VTEC larger, with EPA estimates of 45 mpg, increased 4 mpg compared with the current Civic Hybrid.
John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for American Honda Motor Co. Inc. explains “The Civic is the only model in the industry That cans deliver on all fronts – fuel economy, sporty performance, smart packaging, alternative fuel and long-term value, for the ninth-generation Civic, We Are emphasizing the improved fuel economy across the board, from the hybrid sedan to the sporty Si model.”
As a promising vehicle fuel efficiency, Honda has also launched three models that have similar characteristics, namely the Civic Sedan, Civic Coupe and Civic GX Natural Gas with a greater development in efficiency. Civic Sedan and Civic Coupe even able to achieve 39 mpg on the highway, and all models of Honda vehicles will be equipped with ECO Assist technology. New Civic lineup features a variety of specifications that can increase performance and rider style, all designed to provide convenience and value. Civic Hybrid has a strength of 110 horse power, driven by engine 1.5-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder (power generated from a combination of gasoline and electricity), relying on the transmission continuously variable transmission (CVT), equipped with a Lithium-ion battery, ECO Assist technology, and estimated EPA city / highway is 45 mpg (combined performance results of fuel). While the Civic Si has a power of 200 horsepower and 170 lb-ft, 2.4-liter engine i-VTEC 4-cylinder, operated via a 6-speed manual transmission, with EPA estimates of 31 mpg highway.
